It's not very busy right now. there are two girls sitting down haviing dinner. They both have small salads as either there entre or appitizer. I'm not entirely sure.
Two minutes later there are about five or six people in line. I here alot of noise coming from the machines. Of course it's because of all the orders being made. I noticed that it is very fast paced back there when the orders come in. Which is a good thing! "tall hot chocolate" one employee calls out.
Ther is a guy sitting in one of the couch like chairs wit the mini desk attached aon his Toshiba laptop. I wonder what he's looking up. Probably not homework..
Theres a girl sitting directly in front of me on her cell phone giving someone a phone number. She was so loud with her whole conversation that I'd wished she wowuld move.
I here the Starbucks employee's all laughing and having a good time while there are no customers. The work enviornment seems so fun and friendly to be in, while still very hectic and fast paced at the same time.
A few minutes later when I was wrapping up my observatons for the day, a young lady walks up to and asks if she could use my phone. It sounded urgent so I said sure. She said one call and I said sure no problem. This girl was on my phone for about 45 min. just laughing and giggling. she kept saying five more minutes. Finally I said okay your done and I took the phone from her and hung up on who ever she was talking too. She's lucky my minutes were free or she wouldn't have had it as long as she did.
That was pretty much my night of observing.

EMU Student center: Starbucks area week 6
when I first sat down there was a white buissness card sitting on the table that said Our black bag. Underneath it said Adult party. It made me wonder what kind of "adult party it really was.
When I first got there I noticed that it was very crowded. I Since have never been up here this time o fday before I thought that it was just crowdwed this time of day. That was not the case though. Today they are holding the fast track tours. So the mass over flow o fpoeple was probably due to that.
There were two ladies sitting at the table in front of me giving away boks about porn nation.
Behind me sat a group of people speaking very loudly. I didn't see there faces at first, bit I had to turn and look at them when I realized that they were speaking a foreign language. They were asian so I assume they were speaking chinese
A little girl holding a tub of popcorn was walking with her mother. I could tell by the way sh ewas holding it that she was going to drop it sooner or later. Then when she finally did she threw a huge fit about. she was screaming and crying, and yelling at her mom for more. every one in the area fell silent and looked at the little girl. My expression said that little girl needs a good whooping for acting up like that. Many of the other expressions on people's faces read the same way.A woman finally comes over to clcecan up the mess that the little girl made.
